Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour Or More)
Martha Sparrow, Poker Face

“I am thrilled to be nominated for an Emmy this year for my work on Natasha Lyonne and Rian Johnson’s series Poker Face. The show presented us with a unique, marathon challenge: to create ten distinct story worlds, set in a new state each episode. Judy Rhee and our wonderful crews in New York and in New Mexico worked incredibly hard to keep pace and bring the stories to life. I’m personally very proud of the collection of colourful and nostalgic worlds we created for Charlie to haphazardly investigate.” – Production Designer Martha Sparrow

With science fiction and horror being my favourite genres, I absolutely loved working on these shows and to be nominated for both is truly the icing on an already incredible cake!” –Sound Editor Jill Purdy
