1. Fake Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (2025) – Prime Video (Dundas, Brampton)
DGC Ontario Director Kelly Fyffe-Marshall sets the scene for a classic holiday romance. Filmed throughout Dundas and Brampton, Fake Yourself a Merry Little Christmas follows Maya, a shy professor who falls into an unlikely fake-dating scenario with a stranger. As she joins her boyfriend’s family holiday plans, her feelings become even more complicated when her ex-boyfriend turns out to be her boyfriend’s doctor.

2. A Merry Little Ex-Mas (2025) – Netflix (Unionville, Toronto)
Filmed primarily in cozy Unionville, A Merry Little Ex-Mas follows a recently divorced woman (Alicia Silverstone) and her family as they attempt to have one last amicable holiday as a family. However, their holiday becomes complicated when both new and old feelings arise.

3. A Very Jonas Christmas Movie (2025) – Disney+ (Toronto)
Filmed in Toronto, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie sees the famous musical trio in a race against time as they journey from London to New York, in hopes of making it home for the holidays on time. In the style of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, the brothers have to weasel their way out of many difficult obstacles on their travels, all in the spirit of spending Christmas with their loved ones.

4. Christmas Under the Northern Lights (2024) – Prime Video (North Bay)
Filmed in wintery North Bay, Christmas Under the Northern Lights brings two people together in a small town famous for experiencing the Northern Lights. When they are both in town for the holidays, the couple experience the town’s many Christmas traditions together, while Erin (Jill Wagner) searches for inspiration in her next book.

5. Mistletoe Murders S1 & 2 – Prime Video (Toronto / GTA)
Filmed throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, Mistletoe Murders follows a Christmas shop owner investigating a murder when a poisoned cookie links her to the crime. Multiple DGC Ontario Directors contributed to both seasons of the show, and fans are eagerly awaiting a third season.

6. Auld Lang Syne (2024) – Prime Video (Sault Ste. Marie)
Filmed in Northern Ontario in Sault Ste. Marie, Auld Lang Syne follows two broke, out-of-work actresses in their sixties who decide to hide out on a film set over Christmas. In hopes of not feeling alone over the holidays, the two women attempt to rekindle their friendship while looking back on their adventurous careers.

7. Joy To The World (2025) – Crave (North Bay)
Filmed in North Bay, Joy To The World sees a famous lifestyle writer (Emmanuelle Chriqui) attempt to maintain her perfectly curated image when television cameras show up at her house to film a live Christmas TV special. To seem picture-perfect on camera, she recruits her best friend (Chad Michael Murray) to pretend to be her husband, not expecting that her feelings towards him might change.

8. A Cinderella Christmas Ball (2024) – PLEX (North Bay)
Filmed in North Bay, this holiday adventure tells the story of a search for ancestral knowledge. After discovering a photo of what she thinks are her parents, a dance instructor travels to the small fictional European country of Havenshire over the holidays. There, she attempts to discover the truth of her long-lost parents, while also meeting a charming prince who dances with her at the Christmas Ball.

9. Catch Me If You Claus (2023) – Crave (Ottawa)
Filmed in Ottawa, DGC Ontario Director Bradley Walsh brings a unique mystery storyline to a Hallmark holiday movie. In Catch Me If You Claus, an aspiring news anchor catches a home intruder claiming to be the son of Santa Claus.

10. Twas the Date Before Christmas (2024) – Crave (Toronto)
Filmed in Toronto, Twas the Date Before Christmas brings a heartwarming holiday romance to the screen. Feeling pressure from her family during the holidays, Jessie (Amy Groening) invites Bryan (Robert Buckley) on a first date – at her family’s Christmas gathering. The couple must participate in the family’s holiday traditions while attempting not to raise suspicion about their brand-new relationship.
